Alice Springs Roundtrip

Please note: This route is recommended for 4WD vehicles as some roads are restricted to 4WD campers only.

This small tour can be an addition to your already planned trip. You will see Alice Springs, once inhabited by the Arrernte Aboriginal people. Go see one of the Aboriginal art galleries which showcase the rich culture and traditions and don’t forget Ayers Rock, a true magical experience during sunset! On your way go to Kings Canyon and make sure you take enough pictures of the stunning views. These are the three must see attractions of the Australian Outback and will be a perfect addition to your self drive holiday.

Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Alice Springs

Alice Springs is a town of 30,000 people in the centre of Australia, located on the banks of the usually dry Todd River. This town in the middle of the dessert has plenty of facilities, attractions, tours and accommodation.

Day 2: Ayers Rock- Kings Canyon

Uluru / Ayers Rock is the most famous natural landmark Australia has to offer, standin 348 meters high you can’t miss this natural treasure.

Day 3: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs

Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park is located 450 kilometres south west of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. The Park offers unique flora and fauna with over 600 different plant species. For the last 20,000 years this areas has been the homeland for the Luritja Aboriginal people.
