Skiing in Falls Creek, Australia!

You may have thought it impossible, but yes you can ski in Australia. There are several areas but one of the biggest and best areas is Falls Creek, near Melbourne. Can you give a short summary of your main business activities?

‘Sailing Sydney’ offers individuals and groups the unique opportunity to experience sailing or racing onboard actual America’s Cup yachts. Usually the domain of billionaires and elite professional yachtsmen, AUS21 and AUS40 offer a once-in-a- lifetime chance for all ages to participate onboard these grand prix racing machines. Join us on either our daily 2.5hr ‘America’s Cup Sailing Experience’ or weekly 3hr ‘America’s Cup Match Racing Experience’ departing from Darling Harbour. Both experiences provide a thrilling opportunity for sailing enthusiasts and non-sailors alike, to sail onboard these stunning state-of-the-art match racing yachts.

We also cater for groups ranging in size of up to 350 people with a portfolio of charter options available including Team Building events, exciting Fleet Regattas or our blue ribbon Match Racing sailing programs. Perfect for pre/post conference inclusion or tour series we can also include additional extras such as catering & beverages, celebrity skippers, merchandise or photography to really enhance the event.

Every sailing includes our professional skipper and crew, who provide a full commentary of the history of the yachts, as well as pointing out all of the spectacular sights of Sydney Harbour not to be missed. During the trip passengers will have the opportunity to participate in the sailing by getting busy on the grinders, taking the helm or they can simply sit back and relax while taking in all the action. Each scheduled trip comfortable accommodates around 30 people per yacht & includes non alcoholic beverages onboard.

We operate our sailings from Wharf 9, King Street, Darling Harbour (Directly in front of Cargo Bar / 150m walk north from the Sydney Aquarium entrance)
*Our sales office is located on Jones Bay Wharf, Pirrama Road, Pyrmont.

Which is your most popular excursion/activity/item/package and why?

Because it is available everyday at 1.00pm & is of 2.5hr duration. No experience is necessary but passengers can get involved once onboard if they want to and join the crew in sailing these magnificent yachts. These are the only America’s Cup yachts in Australia that operate commercially and there are very few other places in the world you can take the opportunity to sail on such grand yachts.

What is your inside tip?

Check is no later than 15 mintues prior to departure, or come down early for lunch and take advantage of the 20% discount available to all of our passengers to dine at Cargo Bar.
